P.M.T. Trading Sp. z o.o. in Łódź is a company that was established in 1989 and many years of experience in conducting innovative and implementation projects have brought both results in the company's day-to-day operations and benefits for Polish science.
The 21st century means great challenges. With its onset, P.M.T. Trading Sp. z o.o. started a new period in its activity. Applied has become the company's subject of interest in the food industry the enzyme transglutaminase.
The company has started work on the industrial implementation of modern technologies with the use of transglutaminase. For this purpose, she established cooperation with Polish science, including University of Warmia and Mazury, Lodz University of Technology, Institute of Agricultural and Food Biotechnology. The fruit of this cooperation are further developments and implementations of food production technologies using preparations containing the enzyme transglutaminase. These studies have been successively reported as inventions to the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland.
The company has also taken an effective action to obtain patent protection in the European Union, USA, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine.
Parallel to the patenting, the company conducts extensive research on products made with the use of the transglutaminase enzyme. The results of these studies confirm that food containing the enzyme transglutaminase is completely safe for health, and also has a higher nutritional value and lower allergenicity.
The results of the above research are published in renowned international journals and presented at scientific symposiums in Poland and abroad, where the company often acts as a co-organizer.
Since 2005, the company has been gradually increasing the number of recipients of its enzyme preparations and, with the participation of cooperating scientists, implements modern technologies in dairy, meat and bakery plants in the country and abroad, simultaneously granting them a license to use the reported inventions.
Our special concern is the safety of food produced with the use of enzyme preparations. Each batch of preparations is therefore microbiological tested for the presence of heavy metals and GMOs. The confirmation of these tests is obtaining the certificate of the National Institute of Public Health, National Institute of Hygiene, Food Safety Institute (HŻ 1008/13) for the use of our preparations in the food industry.
